I am sitting here and it is Sunday 1st December, the world has gone Christmas crazy now. Please note, that today the date is 25th January and trying to be organised this year is a massive fail…..!!!!
2024 In Review
So now is the time for writing my review for 2024.
Firstly though, how was your year, did you do anything exciting or travel to any new countries? Sadly no travel during 2024 apart from a day trip to Liverpool and a few days in London working, hopefully, 2025 will offer some travel opportunities for me!
The big thing for 2024 was my shoots with Quay Fitness in Ramsey during the Summer. This was in aid of Rebecca House the Children’s Hospice. So all gym members were offered the opportunity to have their fitness progress recorded through portrait shoots.

At times space was limited and we all worked around that and created some great images of the members.
Along with my family shoots it has been such and busy and incredible year, my oldest sitter was 103!
Ideas For Your Home by Isle of Man Photographer Jason Kinrade
As I work full time, my photography business (not a hobby I have to say, just need to get it out there) is secondary to that, so last year I gave myself a challenge of two shoots per month, happy to confirm I was doing 3 a month, not a bad achievement was it.

So as the year starts to fade and we start to embrace a new year that will be filled with new opportunities and no doubt some challenges thrown our way too.

What does 2025 hold for me photography-wise, I really don’t know just yet (I will start to make plans during December 2024 though).
More editorial style shoots sprinkled with more creative styled projects and ah yes, I do have a project planned for 2025 so just watch this space or contact me if you would like to know more and be part of it….
