Ok, so you have Googled for a Isle of Man photographer on the Isle of Man and then visited their websites to look at their images so what next?
Here are a couple of things to consider
It is always a good idea to check out your photographer credentials. Firstly are they professionally qualified or just a hobbyist? It is vital that you find out, would you want a car serviced by someone interested in cars or a properly qualified professional, it certainly does give you something to think about doesn’t it?
It is a good idea to check out their websites, do they take the images that you love or is it just down to price? Sometimes cheapest is not the best, think of the shoot as an investment and allow a professional to capture you all at your best.

Go with your gut!
Go with your gut instinct it will never let you down. Does the photographer give you good vibes and what is it that you like about them, is it their personality or just their vibe? This is important to you that you actually ‘like’ your photographer.

A photographer will take the time to answer any of your questions or concerns, not everyone is 100% confident in front of the camera so go with a photographer that will make you feel calm and relaxed before and during your shoot.
Questions
If you do have any concerns before your shoot a photographer will put your concerns at ease and also guide you through the whole experience.
Again, the pre-shoot time is equally as important as the shoot itself. Your photographer must communicate with you before, during and after the shoot, communication is vital all around.

Most importantly you must tell the photographer what you are looking for and give them as much information as possible so nothing is forgotten.

Questions to ask?
How long have you been in business?
Are you qualified?
Are you able to fulfil my needs for a shoot?
Can I read some of your testimonials?
What makes you different from everyone else?
Why should I choose you?
The list can be endless but these are some pointers to consider.
